What’s Cheering Me Up Today: Old Hollywood

Hmm, “What cheered me up today” should be another irregular feature for this blog.

Watching a bunch of Fredric March movies in the past few weeks has revived my long-standing love of classic Hollywood films and performers. This is now evident in my YouTube recommendations. Today, I clicked on a link to a clip from an episode of “What’s My Line?” where Walt Disney was a featured mystery performer. I lost control after that and haven’t been able to stop watching them! I’ve taken an emotional downturn in the last few days, and this helped cheer me up immensely.

I haven’t found one yet with Fredric March (I don’t know if he was ever on the show, even), but here are a few other ones that made my heart go pitter-pat:

. . .

. . .

. . .

(I love the screams when he comes out … girls haven’t changed much over the years, have we??)

. . .

. . .

. . .

OH HOLY CRAP, NEVER MIND, THANK YOU JESUS.

(Searching “Fredric March What’s My Line” on YouTube yielded results…who’d’a’ thunk?)

“Do ladies swoon over you in pictures?”

“NO!”

Awwww…
