Although not permanently… yet.
I don’t have a lot to say, I just wanted to write a quick blog post before tomorrow, when I leave for London! I’ve been an absolute nervous wreck about all the things that could go wrong. But I am almost done packing, and since then, I’ve calmed down a bit. Or at least now I’m happy-excited instead of anxious-nervous-fearful-excited. I have all the necessary papers, including my passport, and I’ve printed out absolutely everything I have purchased so far (even the taxi I booked for taking us to the hotel in Portsmouth). As usual, once I know I have done absolutely everything that I can take responsibility for, I can relax a bit.
In 24 hours, I will be on a plane…hmmm, no, wait. In 24 hours I’ll be in Chicago, waiting to board the plane to London. In 48 hours, Kara and I will be in Portsmouth, hopefully asleep.
I don’t think I’ll be posting much here during the trip, unless I can get things figured out a little better with my iPod touch (the only mobile device I’ll have available to me). If you’re friends with me on Facebook or follow me on Twitter, you’ll have a better chance of getting updates, otherwise you’ll just have to wait until I get back to hear all about it!
